Symmetry

The meaning is a precise and well-defined concept of balance or "patterned self-similarity" that can be demonstrated or proved according to the rules of a formal system: by geometry, through physics or otherwise.
Ponder - where can I find symmetry?

There are many different places to find symmetry - the first is natural symmetry:

"Natural Symmetry". Sometimes it's good to review a simple principle concept in composition just to keep our eyes trained. Symmetry is just one of those that can help you achieve a sense of balance in your images. This time I want you to look for natural, not man-made symmetry. So no bridges or buildings, etc. as your main subject. Look beyond the obvious; you might be surprised.

The shades are symmetric, the eyes are too, the face is beautiful and so are you!

"Man-made Symmetry" - look for it in things outside of nature. Buildings, roads, playground equipment, tech stuff; the list goes on and on. Check the above sites, if you haven't already, to get your brain thinking.

The Hall of Ideas is a celebration of our common heritage—the great ideas that have inspired individuals and transformed society throughout the ages. A neoclassical hall built in 1934, the renovated Hall welcomes visitors to The Mary Baker Eddy Library.
